Big Title
- The Death of a Child -
What Magic Encompasses
the death of a child
When wondering eyes
no longer are wide
When laughter is stifled
amusement lay weened
what magic encompassed
a Child's death unseen
For penitence dawns from
a serious side
When the heart swallows Wisdom
pushes child fall behind
of the petulant seer
on paths grown obtuse
The bane now the child
becomes little grown use
For the monsters once spoke of
with fear and delight
must fade from the bedposts
lift high into light
And dreams left forgotten
are lain without spite
as child passes way
child falls to good night
….should never release
the Child held within
The death of a child
perhaps our first sin
A death of No Mourning
The only of kind
A climb into manhood
the child left behind
