- Shallow Grave -
I dug a shallow grave
deep within the wood
Moist dirt from early morn
thrown to the side.
I lay in the grave
it was cool
it barely covered my body
it was then I realized
this is not a grave at all,
but a ditch
and I am lying in it. -
