Big Title

- the age set in -

...and when another hair falls out

I scream and jump

and shout

and shout

with anger and with rage again

I curse the age set in.

When sounds once brilliant start to fade

I grumble; mumble

with mutter

I stumble

mumble and grumble with rage again

And curse the age set in

Then eyes begin to take their rest

I squint to see

my bash'ed best

at words afar held

from my chest and full again

I see the age set in

now,

with muscle's ache and

muscles sore

I tell the youths,

to shore,

to moor;

and knowing days' large deeds we'd wore

I guide the age set in

For now,

when temper becomes content,

I smile

at time

I've spent;

and with full heart,

affirm relent,

I smile again

as I accept

from the life

that I have spent,

and (and lucky am) that the age

set in
